Frequently asked questions
- Is Aurora Arcana free?
- Yes, there's a free mode. On mobile (iOS and Android) it's ad-supported. Premium features, like in-depth talks with Aurora and advanced transits, use one-off credits — you buy only what you use, no subscription.
- Do I need an account?
- No. The app works with no account or email. On first launch it generates an anonymous identifier (UUID) tied to your device to keep your history.
- Which platforms is the app on?
- iOS, Android, and the browser (desktop or mobile) via PWA, which can be installed to your home screen.
- Does it work offline?
- Most of it: the 78-card library, traditional spreads, and the Card of the Day. Conversations with Aurora and new chart calculations need a connection.
- How is the birth chart calculated?
- From real astronomical ephemerides — the 12 house cusps, aspect degrees, and essential dignities, with no generic approximations.
- Does tarot predict the future?
- No. Readings point to tendencies and prompt reflection on the present; the future depends on your choices. The app avoids closed predictions and determinism.
- Are my data and readings private?
- Yes. No sign-up is required, and data is tied to an anonymous identifier. You can request deletion at any time (GDPR). See the Privacy Policy.
- The app froze or a reading didn't load. What should I do?
- Check your connection, update to the latest version, and clear the browser cache. If it persists, email support with your device, OS, and a screenshot of the error.
